Diana Candela, a Cyber-Risk strategist who characterizes the alignment of Tech, Security, and Privacy. A mostly anonymous leading expert on multi-national IT Regulatory Compliance with over 20 years experience across a variety of public and private sectors including Manufacturing, Energy, Banking, Healthcare and Government. Diana promotes sound, risk-based decisions to drive security and privacy as by-products of compliance activities. Diana is also a cheery, public speaker and cyber security blog enthusiast, who casually avoids the tech lingo and loves to drive Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) operational excellence topics to both technical and non-technical audiences alike.
Diana holds multiple certifications including: CEH, ECSA, CNDA, LPT, CSSGB, ITIL, DHS-FEMA-NIMS. She’s been a part of the Comprehensive Cyberterrorism Defense (CCD) Program and has completed the Cyberterrorism First Responder (CFR) and Cybersecurity Proactive Defense (CPD) trainings.

Michael Porier is a Managing Director in Protiviti’s Houston office specializing in executing and managing information technology risk consulting engagements. His expertise includes evaluating the risks and controls related to managing a company’s enterprise-wide technical processes, performing detail security assessments, evaluating and implementing privacy programs, administering PCI evaluations, and implementing business continuity solutions. He has experience in various industries, but has specific expertise in the energy and government services areas.

Katie is an Associate Director in our IT Consulting Security & Privacy practice with a specific focus in Security, Privacy, and Identity and Access Management (IAM) services. Katie has over 10 years of Security & Privacy experience and 15 years of overall technology experience. Prior to joining Protiviti, Katie assumed a lead Technology Risk & Compliance role at a global banking firm with main focus in Security & Risk Management, Identity & Access Management, Business Continuity, and Data Protection.
