Working Mother Magazine Names Protiviti One of the 2018 ‘100 Best Companies’

Protiviti also named to the Diversity Best Practices Inclusion Index

MENLO PARK, CA – September 25, 2018 – Global consulting firm Protiviti has been named to the 2018 ‘100 Best Companies’ list by Working Mother magazine. The list recognizes companies for the work they are doing on behalf of working parents and caregivers in the areas of female career advancement, childcare assistance, benefits and flextime, among others. The extensive application assesses benefits, advancement and mentoring programs, adoption assistance and diversity initiatives, and surveys the availability and usage of these programs as well as the accountability of those who oversee them.

Protiviti scored especially well in the areas of flexible work arrangements, access to women’s advancement programs, and company culture and accountability. The firm also scored favorably for its family-friendly benefits, which include subsidized backup dependent care, a lactation support service and breastmilk shipment program for new mothers, and a high-touch Leave Concierge program for employees who take leaves of absence.

Additionally, as a result of its dedication to diversity and inclusion and based on information provided in its Working Mother application, Protiviti was also named recently to the 2018 Diversity Best Practices Inclusion Index. To be listed on the index, organizations are scored on their diversity and inclusion practices in recruitment; retention and advancement; organizational culture; and demographic transparency.

“Protiviti’s daily commitment to diversity and inclusion helps provide a rewarding career experience for our people and unique perspectives for our clients,” said Susan Haseley, executive vice president, global diversity and inclusion, Protiviti. “From our recruiting programs, which are focused on diversity, to our employee network groups, which include groups for women and for parents, we strive to build and support a truly inclusive workforce for all. We’re humbled and inspired to be recognized for our efforts by Working Mother.”

“The programs and policies for working parents created by all of the 100 Best set a standard of excellence, and we applaud them for continuing to innovate and address the needs of this important talent sector,” said Subha Barry, president of Working Mother Media.

Working Mother will celebrate the achievements of the 100 Best Companies at a gala dinner on October 9 in New York City. During the event, a working mother employee from each of the 100 companies will be honored as a Mother of the Year, including Protiviti’s Ana Amato, a managing director in the firm’s Atlanta office. Amato will be recognized for her exceptional mentoring of Protiviti new parents and her leadership by example. The full list of winners will also be published in the October/November edition of Working Mother.
