
Lefferts comes to Protiviti from IBM Global Business Services, where he held several leadership roles during his 11-year tenure at IBM, including managing partner for the financial services sector in North America and managing partner for the financial services sector in the company’s Greater China Group, and was a member of IBM’s Industry Academy. In these roles, Lefferts built a strong record for strategy, operations and management by leading strategic client relationships and running major client transformation initiatives for some of the world’s largest financial services institutions.
Prior to this, Lefferts served as director of Technology Strategy and Architecture for Merrill Lynch Global Wealth Management. Previously in his career, Lefferts was a strategy, operations and technology consultant for a Big Four accounting firm.

Lefferts earned his MBA at Drexel University and his bachelor’s degree at the University of Delaware. He also serves on the board of directors of the Borough of Manhattan Community College Foundation.
To further enable the firm’s ability to deliver world-class, flexible resource solutions to its clients, Kurt Underwood, a managing director in Protiviti’s Technology Consulting practice, takes on a newly created leadership role as Protiviti’s global leader of Managed Technology Solutions – a joint offering with Robert Half, the parent company of Protiviti.
