He has 11+ years of experience leading projects at financial services institutions focusing on the following areas: Credit Risk Due Diligence and Loan Review, Credit Process Re-engineering, Investments & Treasury Reviews, Regulatory Compliance Reviews, Internal Audit and overall Project Management.
Created and operated in a Program Management Office to support a multi-year Anti-Money Laundering Business and Technology Transformation. Develop Program Objectives and value drivers to respond to gaps identified through assessments, Internal Audits and regulatory exams. Setup governance structure, reporting structure, financial management, communication and issue management processes to support the program.
Led multiple Technology and Business Integration projects in both the Commercial Lending and Treasury/Deposit groups of a large multinational bank. Implemented Project Management Processes, provided budget/forecasting, status reporting, risk identification and issue resolution. Followed the system development lifecycle milestones to decommission systems, implement a new lending origination application and ensure that all business processes (i.e. new processes, policies and procedures, training, HR processes) were created in line with the integration.
Led a process redesign review of the Business Development group at a large financial services company. Provided scope and approach for redesign and implementation. Utilized benchmark information to analyze the benefits and gaps of the current state and recommended a target operating model. Created the tools and templates, performed scenario analysis, and implemented the target operating model.
Assisted in a Model Review of a Capital Demand and Supply Aggregation Model which aggregated data from a large financial institutions stress testing models and provided final Basel and Regulatory Capital as output. Reviewed the inputs, methodology, assumptions and outputs of the model. Re-created model calculations via testing.
Assisted in the development of a loss estimate through loss modeling by using external data, government sources and internal data to develop a loss estimation framework and modeling tool.
Participated in a Model validation of a PD rating model
Assisted in ACL and ALLL review of a midsize community bank with over $4B in assets by preparing benchmark statistics and presenting best practice documentation.
Assisted in the testing a bank’s loan profitability model and provided advisory services to improve functionality and accuracy.
Led a workstream to create Project Documentation surrounding a maturing account program to terminate a HELOC EOD/EOT portfolio for a multi-national financial services company. Documented key stakeholders, key decisions made throughout the life of the program, current state processes and gaps in the program operations. Provided and implemented recommendations to remediate gaps, including assisting in the re-organization of the Program Management Office.
