Tammy Mittelstaedt

Managing Director

Tammy Mittelstaedt is a Managing Director in the Enterprise Applications Solutions (EAS) practice in our Chicago office. She has over 20 years of experience in delivering transformational, operational, and digital innovation programs, with an emphasis on finance-led transformations.  Tammy has held senior roles in some of the world’s largest consultancies and has served global clients in a variety of industries with diverse and global teams.   Prior to her consulting career, Tammy worked in external audit with one of the largest audit practices in the United States.

At Protiviti, Tammy leads the EAS practice for the Central Region and the Oracle Implementation practice nationally.  The practices focus on implementation services including software selection, solution design, full life-cycle implementations, program governance, change management and training, and pre- and post-implementation reviews.

Major projects

  • Tammy has led multiple implementations over 20+ years of Oracle applications ranging from Oracle Cloud, PeopleSoft, and e-Business Suite solutions.  These implementations have ranged in size from 10 to 150 person teams and span across financials, supply chain and procurement, manufacturing and HCM solutions for clients ranging from $500 Million to $40 Billion in revenues. She has significant experience working with teams across multiple countries and continents. 
  • Tammy has worked with clients to adopt application managed services and to build internal teams needed to support the ongoing use of Oracle applications post-implementation.   
  • Tammy has assisted many clients with selections, evaluations, and technology and transformation roadmaps.  She has also assisted clients with business process improvement initiatives centric to the finance function. 
  • Tammy has led multiple teams to perform reviews of in-flight programs for corrective and risk mitigation action plans.
