AI Enablement, From First Training to Agentic​ Use Case Design

Protiviti has supported Chord Energy's AI enablement since March of 2026, moving from initial training to real-time, end-user use case development and coaching.  We are also providing additional subject matter expertise to their internal AI team to help them scale as adoption rapidly grows.

Chord Energy is a Texas-based oil producer, enabling its enterprise through a wide-ranging Ai adoption plan using Anthropic Claude and other capabilities.

 

The challenge

The company wanted to build organisation-wide AI capability, from first exposure through advanced agentic use cases.

 

Our approach

Protiviti introduced a phased enablement program: A phased enablement program: initial training, then real-time use case support and mentoring program, then agentic SME advice to support internal AI experts and citizen developers across the enterprise.

Protiviti has supported Chord Energy’s team since March 2026 through sustained enablement with a dedicated AI mentoring team now operating and expanding the use case portfolio.

 

The challenge

Building durable, organisation-wide AI capability required more than a training event. The client recognised that, to support rapid adoption, they needed sustained support as its own team's ambition moved from basic use cases to advanced agentic ones.

Our approach

Protiviti has been supporting Chord Energy’s AI development through a mentoring program in place since March 2026:  

  • Initial training
  • Real-time mentoring for end-user-level use case development
  • Providing deeper expertise and SME advice on more advanced agentic use cases, using Claude Cowork and Claude for Teams/Enterprise  

We are also working with the team to understand, measure, and monitor blockers such as training gaps and tooling gaps across the enterprise.
