He has worked across a variety of sectors in Australia but primarily services Protiviti Australia clients across Victorian government departments and agencies, the energy, utilities and telecommunications sector, and public and private healthcare. Will brings industry specific knowledge and benchmarking, along with innovative audit and controls concepts, to ensure his work delivers insights that reduce risk and drive commercial outcomes.Major projects and accomplishmentsInternal audit leadership for Victorian government departments and agencies – Will leads the outsourced and co-sourced internal audit services for several Victorian government departments, government-owned corporations, and statutory bodies. This includes regular engagement with senior executives, the board, and the audit committee to advise on our internal audit activities covering significant projects, core operations, and financial controls, information security and risk management.Healthcare internal audit – Will is the director for Protiviti’s portfolio of healthcare clients, including public health services, private hospitals, and aged and community care. His continued focus on this sector means Will advises on the key risks that face these organisations, including clinical regulatory and legislative environments, financial sustainability, and health and safety controls.Controls improvement advisory and assurance – He has extensive experience providing live and aligned-assurance across control transformation programs to ensure control environment improvement.
