Protiviti Australia Joins Forces with Westpac and Tour de Cure for 2024 Ride for a Cure Event

4 March, 2024 - Sydney – Protiviti Australia proudly announces its collaboration with Westpac and Tour de Cure for the 2024 Ride for a Cure event, aimed at raising awareness and funds to combat cancer. As a committed advocate for social responsibility and community well-being, Protiviti Australia is excited to participate in this significant initiative. 

Tour de Cure, a renowned organisation dedicated to eradicating cancer, has been instrumental in raising over $114 million since 2007. Through their relentless efforts, over 823 cancer research, support, and prevention projects have been funded, resulting in 139 groundbreaking cancer breakthroughs.

 In 2024, Westpac will once again team up with Tour de Cure to present Move for a Cure, a series of health and wellbeing events designed to engage the Westpac community and valued partners. The centrepiece of this initiative is the 2024 Westpac Ride for a Cure, scheduled from Saturday, May 4th to Tuesday, May 7th, 2024. This three-day event will see participants embark on a challenging 334-421km journey from Port Stephens to Sydney, making visits along the way to local schools in areas such as the Hunter Valley and Central Coast.

Protiviti Australia is thrilled to support this cause, with Protiviti Managing Directors, Global Enterprise Cloud Leader David Kissane, and Australia ESG Solution Leader Richard Turley stepping up to the challenge. They have committed to 16-weeks of training and hundreds more kilometers of riding with Westpac and Tour de Cure ride leaders.
