Archana is a technology leader with over 16 years of diversified experience in leading people, processes, and large-scale technology transformation programs on a global scale (budgets exceeding USD 35 million). She has held IT leadership roles in global organisations such as Boeing, Dell, and BNP Paribas, and has worked in London, Paris, Luxembourg, Singapore, and India before relocating to Australia.

She brings consulting expertise in organisation-wide multi-cloud and digital transformation programs, emerging technology adoption strategies, AI and GenAI strategy, and DevOps automation. Her knowledge spans capabilities across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, IoC, VMware, DevOps, FinOps, VCF, and vRealize automation.

For the past 4 years, she has been implementing cloud transformation programs across multiple Australian clients in government, education, and defence sectors.

Major projects and accomplishments

• Largest state government agency cloud transformation – Archana led the cloud migration and transformation for one of the largest state government agencies. The systems involved were critical to its revenue, debt, and fines collection.
• Optimal enterprise integration – She led the international IT Enterprise Integration Program for the merger of a major multinational company’s subsidiaries. This involved IT transformation, organisational alignment, global alignment of IT processes, and IT systems integration. Oversaw organisational change management, including people, legal, and technical change initiatives.
• Top-ranked university – Led the full-scale multi-cloud migration for one of the most prominent universities in Australia and its affiliated hospitals. Responsible for delivering and integrating multi-cloud and hybrid services (AWS, Azure, VMware). Managed cloud operations, cloud design, automation, DevOps, and service orchestration teams. Uplifted cloud security and drove cyber remediation through automation using Puppet.
• Dell global pilot: Virtual cloud foundation on VxRail solution – She delivered the pilot Infrastructure-as-a-Service and greenfield implementation for an Australian client in collaboration with Dell EMC and VMware (VxRail with VCF 4). Built a hybrid cloud with private and public cloud linkage (Azure, AWS, Google), enabling migration and lifecycle management through a unified interface (VMware VCF).
• Investment banking: Global applications and services consolidation – Archana worked in global IT centres to review end-to-end business processes and map them to IT systems. Developed architecture blueprints based on TOGAF standards for approximately 300 global applications, aligning them with investment banking business flows to identify duplication and inefficiencies. Designed a client-specific three-layer application architecture: business processes, application linkages, and infrastructure. This effort led to global services consolidation and an estimated cost saving of over $80 million.
