Risk & Compliance Consulting

JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES

Consultants in our Risk and Compliance Consulting solution work in dynamic, team-oriented environments where they define business issues, compile information, and analyse data in order to present solutions to our clients. As core members of project teams, Protiviti’s Process Consultants help clients identify, prioritise, and manage their business issues to enhance organisational performance and business value. A Consultant’s primary role is to develop an understanding of basic business processes, to build technical skills in general risk areas, and to help our clients review, document, evaluate and test controls, efficiencies, and business management programs. Consultants spend most of their time at our clients’ work locations and are immersed in a variety of business situations every year.

We seek individuals who understand business operations and who can contribute to our multi-disciplinary group with skills in a variety of functions including:

  • Risk and Compliance 
  • Internal Audit and Financial Advisory 
  • Business Performance Improvement
  • Data Analytics
  • Enterprise Risk Management
  • Corporate Governance Advisory

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting and Finance, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Management Information Systems, Operations Management, or related disciplines is preferred.
  • Cumulative Minimum GPA: 3.0 overall, 3.0 major 
  • Good command of English, Cantonese, and Mandarin 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite applications 
  • Preferably, some programming knowledge (i.e. Python, R Studio, Sql, VB, etc.)

Technology Consulting

JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Protiviti Hong Kong IT Consulting team provides a wide range of IT-related solutions, including IT strategic planning, IT governance design, application design advisory, security, and privacy assessment and advisory, as well as IT audit and compliance. Our IT consultants work in dynamic, team-oriented environments where they identify IT-related issues or problems, analyse options, define appropriate recommendations, and then present the solutions to our clients. In many cases, our clients also ask our project team to assist in the design and implementation of the solutions. Consultants will spend most of their time working collaboratively with and learning consulting skills from Senior Consultants, Managers or Directors on the team. Moreover, our Consultants will gain knowledge and experience in a wide range of IT consulting solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science or Management Information System preferred 
  • Cumulative Minimum GPA: 3.0 overall, 3.0 major
  • Good command of English, Cantonese, and Mandarin

Consultants on our Business Performance Improvement team, work in dynamic, collaborative environments where they understand real business problems and deliver sustainable solutions.

Our consultants focus on Project Management Office, business analysis and project management services. Effective change is facilitated through interventions such as, change management plans, training, and communications.

Digital Transformation and Innovation Services

JOB DESCRIPTION

Consultants on our Business Performance Improvement consulting team, work in dynamic, team-oriented environments where they understand real business problems, compile information, and analyse data to present solutions to our clients.

Our Digital Transformation and Innovation Services team specialize in re-engineering customer journeys, introducing new electronic channels, and utilising automated tools. With new, innovative design thinking solutions, Protiviti enables clients to visualise challenges from a new angle. To understand their thinking process with convergent and divergent approaches, creative solutions to real problems are fully delivered.

Protiviti’s Business Performance Improvement aims to create simpler, better, and faster client experiences, leading to significantly enhanced business results.

TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage projects from initial problem to final execution, including data analytics, tracking and reporting.
  • Manage clients through building relationships and effective communications via monthly reporting, the sharing of thought-provoking articles and by building PowerPoint presentations sharing valuable insights.
  • Manage teams, from initial peer to peer collaboration, through to, nurturing talent and driving performance by utilising learning development resources and available research.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Business Analysis, Hospitality Management, or other related disciplines
  • Cumulative Minimum GPA: 3.0 overall, 3.0 major
  • Good command of English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
  • Desirable knowledge of automation tools and coding languages. Example: Python, R Studio, Sql, VB

Our Graduate Recruiting Process

Our recruiting approach focuses on one thing: You! Throughout the process our goal is to get to know you so that we can better understand your suitability for a role within our organisation.

Recruitment Timeline

  • We’ll be accepting applications from January through March.
  • All rounds of interviews including Assessment Centres will be conducted in April and May.
  • All offers will be made by the end of May.

Step One: Online Application

Submit your resume, cover letter, and academic transcript. We strongly recommend your application includes all relevant details. You will be asked to answer a few questions in your application that will help us understand what you’re looking for in your career and what areas interest you the most.

Step Two: Telephone Interview

Once we receive your graduate application, your responses will be assessed and if successful, you will then be invited to participate in a short telephone interview. This will help us get to know you better.

Step Three: Assessment Centre

After your telephone interview, successful candidates will be invited to participate in our virtual assessment centre. This will allow us to get to know you and enable us to see how you interact with your potential colleagues. You will hear from, and meet, various people in the organisation including our Managing Director(s). You will also take part in a one-on-one interview, complete written case studies, and take part in a group scenario which includes a presentation.

Step Four: Final Interview

The final stage of this process is an interview with the respective solution’s Managing Director.

Step Five: Offers Made

If you are successful to this stage, congratulations! Offers will be made to you in writing within one month of participation in our assessment centre.

You’ll also be supported to undertake relevant professional qualifications. All our new joiners are assigned a Peer Advisor; a Consultant or Senior Consultant to guide you through day-to-day life at Protiviti. All graduates will also be allocated a Career Advisor, a Manager or Senior Manager to coach you through your career, including helping you set the goals you aim to achieve each year.
