Rodney is a director at Protiviti Hong Kong, with over 25 years of experience in systems design, project management and implementation, risk management, IT audit and transformation. He leads the digital transformation team, serving clients across multiple industries using disruptive technologies. Rodney has also led projects in diversified disciplines such as data management systems, cloud migration, system assessment, content migration, BCP and DRP planning, security advisory, etc.   

Major projects

• Led the corporate content migration project for a Hong Kong electricity company. The project involved business users from multiple business units and departments. The size of the migrated documents was close to 100TB and was stored in network drives and FileNet EDMS
• Helped a client embark on a digital transformation journey by automating key processes using some of the latest disruptive technologies. This resulted in significant financial savings for the client. Migration to the cloud was another key strategic endeavour that began during this period with the help of the Protiviti team
• Led a project to automate KYC operations using RPA robots for one of the biggest global commercial banks. This project covered KYC for all of the bank's business lines, resulting in a significant reduction in the number of staff required to prepare customer information.
• Spearheaded the setup of an offshore centre for a Swiss investment bank for their BAU processes
• Managed a PeopleSoft HR project for a global retail conglomerate operating in various areas
• Performed system design of a new supplier management system for a leading internet value-added services provider in China
• Completed over 10 Oracle ERP system implementations for clients in various businesses
• Led and conducted an array of IT audits and assessments of various types such as security advisory, SOX/JSOX, NIST/ISO27001 and PN21
