Marek Kosmowski

Marek is a director with over 17 years’ experience. He heads digital and innovation in Southeast Asia for Protiviti, focusing on digital initiatives including digital banking, UX/UI, RPA, machine learning, AI, design thinking, blockchain, and customer experience. Marek brings a mix of experience from the Financial Service industry having worked directly for some of the leading banks in Europe and Asia, as well as bringing a well-balanced consulting experience from multiple organisations.

Major Projects & Roles

• Lead APAC Digital Process Excellence team focusing on driving implementations of RPA, AI, other digital technologies & initiatives to drive improvements. Directly oversaw teams with APAC wide remit across all areas of business, collaborating closely to ensure smooth & result oriented delivery
• Created and developed Operational Excellence proposition for banking sector in ASEAN, leading and delivering Strategy & Operations projects for large International banks, Insurers, and conglomerates in Singapore, Switzerland, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines
• Created Digital & Operational Excellence proposition for banks. Responsible for setup and leadership of Lean & Operational Excellence projects in UK and Germany for globally recognized clients within banking and insurance sectors
• Lead transformation of processes for Corporate & Commercial bank in UK using Digital, Lean and Continuous Improvement, including migration from back office operations to newly established Corporate and Commercial Servicing Centre. Managed change projects for Corporate & Commercial bank to deliver integration of acquired business and to bring the bank’s capabilities in line with key competitors
• Driving of implementation of Lean across one of the largest UK banks with strong focus on e2e projects with key focus on Lean, Automation and Business Transformation. Key specialisation in Retail Banking and Operations in areas such as branch network, back office operations, digital channels, telephony sales & service, and more
