Your role

Protiviti is strengthening its Risk & Compliance (R&C) solution in The Netherlands by bringing GRC technology and Risk & Compliance solutions closer and closer together. Therefore, we are looking for a team member who has experience and understands both sides of the coin – how (Non-Financial) Risk Management and Compliance processes work, and how GRC technology can support them in the best possible way. You will be working with teams of highly qualified professionals from various disciplines, helping to explore collaboration and implement solutions at our clients.

Profile

• Affinity and hands-on experience with the implementation of GRC technologies, understanding how they support various R&C processes;
• Good level of understanding of (Non-Financial) Risk Management, including key concepts, frameworks, three lines governance, and related processes at financial institutions or other industries;
• Knowledge of good practices for identifying and documenting risks, performing assessments, testing controls, capturing incidents, issues an management actions;
• Ability to lead a project team that needs to quickly understand client’s R&C processes, collect business requirements, translate them to technical language for GRC technology implementation, and oversee the implementation process;
• Ability to challenge the status quo of existing R&C methodologies and processes and be able to advise on improvements;
• Good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate and give advice to both the risk & compliance professionals as well as technology staff;
• You enjoy being challenged with complex requirements and being able to offer solutions;
• Ability to think out-of-the box in order to contribute to the development of risk management and compliance functions, with the application of GRC technology;
• Eager to learn, energetic, loves to work in an environment without boundaries;
• Enjoy working in a dynamic environment, possibly being involved in multiple projects at a time;
• 8+ years of work experience;
• Fluent Dutch and English, spoken and written.
