See it, Be it: TC4RE launches campaign to drive diversity in tech

The Technology Community for Racial Equality (TC4RE), of which Protiviti UK is one of 11 founding partners, is proud to launch a new nationwide campaign - See it, Be it.

The campaign boldly challenges the lack of ethnic minority representation in the technology sector – and in a bid to address this, showcases 15 inspirational role models, who share personal and professional stories in a series of bite-size two-minute video updates.

The absence of visible role models in the industry is one of the driving factors behind the lack of ethnic minorities in technology, which See it, Be it aims to disrupt.

This initiative, which forms part of TC4RE’s strategic objectives, is the first-of-its-kind with the intention of placing racial diversity firmly on the boardroom agenda at tech organisations.

TC4RE’s ambition goes beyond simply raising awareness – it’s about driving action to rebalance representation in the UK tech industry for the benefit of individuals and the organisations they work for.

Showcasing more individuals as part of this campaign will take place as TC4RE grows.

The campaign is supported by talent solutions provider Robert Half Inc. who has provided TC4RE with research information in relation to relevant job descriptions and trends in the tech job sector.
