Mahendra is a Managing Director with Protiviti, responsible for Technology Consulting and Risk Managements solutions for the United Kingdom. He has 21+ years of professional experience across projects covering Finance Transformation, Business Process, Improvement/Target Operating Model, Process Transformation, Financial process efficiency, technology enablement across different ERPs, Carve outs, IT Strategy and Roadmap, programme & Project Management.

Prior to joining Protiviti, Mahendra has served with leading Consulting companies including Ernst & Young, Siemens, A.F. Ferguson & Co.

Major Projects

  • Mahendra has been involved in multiple End to end ERP Transformation projects. He has been a programme Lead for a large SAP Technology enablement engagement for a leading News Channel in India. He has Successfully led delivery of a complex transformation project involving technology enablement of SAP and integration with other legacy applications (Hospital patient care system, billing system, etc.) at one of the leading Healthcare provider.
  • He has even carried out ERP system review for compliance with J-SOX requirements and has performed multiple ERP enabled Business Process improvements/Optimisation engagements
  • Led various transformation projects involving implementation of SAP REAL Estate solution s for multiple real estate, Print Media, News and Entertainment business, as well as Digital Media companies.
  • Led Process Transformation projects as a programme Lead for a large ERP Transformation project for a leading Consumer Durables Company in India.
  • Led a team for a Process Transformation engagement for a leading real estate company which involved enterprise wide process design and Re-engineering and then automation of the future state processes
  • Supported Finance Director of a leading Alcobev company  in preparing finance function for major change in finance and production system.
  • Mahendra has also been engaged in Business Process Re-engineering/Finance Operating Model Design projects where he was a subject matter resource for developing a future state business process document for a leading Pharmaceutical company. He even led a team to prepare a Data Migration Strategy for one of the leading Tobacco manufacturing Company and has also been involved in defining the future state finance processes, Finance Operating model for a Pharmaceutical wholesale and Retail distribution company in India.
  • As part of Finance Process Efficiency, Mahendra has also led a team to carry out an assessment of finance business processes, identified improvement opportunities and prioritisation of improvements to better financial integrity for a leading Power generation and distribution company in India. He also led a team for the roll out of Global Standardised Processes at a leading global Automotive company.
