Baris brings nearly 20 years of academic and policy consultancy experience in sustainable development, climate change mitigation and adaptation. He has worked for several agencies of the United Nations and actively contributed to developing and executing sustainable development goals (SDGs). He was the lead author of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). His extensive professional network with a diverse set of stakeholders allows him to build multi-stakeholder partnerships on sustainability.

Baris has further specialized in sustainable finance, green investments, and taxonomies for sustainable investments. His knowledge of sectoral best practices and industry-specific regulation ensures an effective and impactful design and execution of client-tailored ESG strategies. This is further enhanced by his solid leadership, organisation and communication skills.
