Andrea is a Managing Director in Protiviti’s Business Performance Improvement Solution based in New York City. Andrea leads Protiviti’s Business Planning & Analysis practice, providing clients with the necessary tools to navigate complex scenarios, adapt to business changes, and achieve significant outcomes. Prior to joining Protiviti, Andrea spent more than 20 years in various finance and accounting leadership roles across corporate finance, divisional strategic finance, FP&A, and SEC reporting and technical accounting. At Protiviti, Andrea serves clients in various industries, guiding them through their finance transformation and public company readiness journeys, as well as enhancing business performance through financial planning, operational effectiveness, strategic cost optimisation, and innovation.

Major Projects

  • Led public company readiness efforts in advisory and oversight roles for various companies.  Managed key areas of infrastructure buildout, including establishing an accelerated financial close process; building out the FP&A function and related processes; and implementing routine financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP and SEC requirements. Supported IPO transaction-specific activities such Form S-1 drafting, KPI development, and readiness assessments.
  • Designed and executed integrated planning processes, including annual budgets, rolling-forecast and long-range plans, incorporating cross-functional business partnerships and connecting plans with strategy. Developed scenario planning models, zero-based budgeting, and advanced analytics tools to drive end-to-end strategic decision-making and enhance cross-functional alignment.
  • Designed and developed modern data platforms in collaboration with technology teams to allow for client finance organisations to transform from manual reporting to automation and predictive planning.
  • Served as a strategic finance business partner to regional, operational and executive leadership, driving financial discipline and delivering analytics and insights to support revenue growth, cost optimisation, and capital allocation decisions.
  • Led finance transformation projects and post-acquisition integrations, including creation of shared services functions and redefining the finance business partnering roles. Achieved measurable improvements in efficiency, talent capabilities, and cost-to-serve.
  • Redesigned and implemented global finance operating models to support public company standards in complex, highly controlled environments, ensuring compliance, scalability, and operational readiness.
  • Held senior finance roles in taking two companies public, supporting IPO readiness and execution across FP&A, financial reporting, SEC reporting and technical accounting, and operational finance.
