Steve is a seasoned HR professional with more than 17 years of experience. As the HR Director at Protiviti, Steve plays a vital role in shaping the organisation's overall HR strategy and ensuring the alignment of HR initiatives with business goals and values.

Throughout Steve's career, he has successfully designed and implemented various HR programmes, policies and initiatives, which have positively impacted employee engagement and experience, talent acquisition, reward and recognition, performance management, and organisational development.

Steve has a deep understanding of employment law and regulations, and has excelled in developing and implementing HR policies that comply with legal requirements and best practices. Steve possesses a strong ability to handle complex employee relations issues with sensitivity and fairness, fostering an environment which supports open communication and conflict resolution.

Steve's leadership skills are evident in his ability to build and manage high-performing HR teams. Steve is passionate about continually developing the team so that Protiviti can continue to be a market leader in all things people.

Prior to joining Protiviti, Steve held various HR leadership roles at EY and Transport for London, where he gained valuable experience across different industries. Steve holds a Masters in Human Resources and is a Chartered member of the CIPD. Steve regularly participates in professional development programmes to stay abreast of emerging HR practices and trends.

As a HR Director, Steve is committed to fostering a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring equal opportunities for all employees. Steve is passionate about removing the stigma around mental health and is a qualified Mental Health First Aider.
