Awards dinner in Chicago tonight to celebrate top consulting talent
MENLO PARK, Calif. – April 16, 2015 – Randy Armknecht, an associate director in the IT Consulting practice of global consulting firm Protiviti, has been honored by Consulting magazine as one of the 2015 "Rising Stars of the Profession." Based in the firm's Chicago office, Armknecht was chosen from hundreds of consultants across the U.S. as one of 35 talented professionals under the age of 35 for his significant contributions and leadership in the area of IT security.
The publication will celebrate the 2015 winners at its Rising Stars of the Profession Awards Dinner this evening, April 16, at 6:00 p.m. (CDT), at the W Chicago City Center in Chicago.
Armknecht has been instrumental in growing Protiviti’s Chicago IT security practice and is responsible for the development and implementation of security programs and policies for numerous Protiviti clients. His skills and experience as an IT security leader have enabled him to dive deeply into various regulatory and security environments and also communicate effectively with clients’ senior management and boards of directors about technical security issues.

In addition to his work with Protiviti, Armknecht volunteers as a guest speaker at his alma mater DePaul University, educating both students and facility about trends in the cyber security industry.
