Protiviti Managing Director named as one of the Most Powerful Women in Business in Oman

Middle East Region, November 3rd, 2013: Oman Economic Review (OER), a leading business publication has named Protiviti’s Shatha Al Maskiry, Country Managing Director, as one of the most powerful business woman in Oman. Seventeen women holding leadership positions in top companies in Oman were recognized by the publication recently.

Shatha heads the Oman operations of Protiviti and is actively involved in managing the delivery of consulting services in the areas of human capital, finance, operations, technology, governance, risk, internal audit and controls. Shatha has been instrumental in helping Protiviti grow substantially in Oman and streamlining the firm’s business operations. She has the dedication to excellence and leads a team of qualified professionals to deliver innovative solutions to clients in Oman and the GCC. She is also Protiviti’s Middle East Regional Head of Human Capital Consultancy services.

With over 15 years of international exposure in various global organizations and providing consulting services to Fortune 500 companies, Shatha is the first Omani lady to hold the position of a country and regional Managing Director in a global consulting firm. She is also the founder of 'Leadership in the Digital Age' Forum in Oman, supported by Information Technology Authority. She has served clients in numerous countries including Middle East UK, USA, Hong Kong, and China.

Shatha holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the American University in Washington DC, USA and an MBA from the University of Surrey, UK.
