Kyle’s experience spans a wide range of industries such as public sector, higher education, resources, consumer electronics, media, telecom, and manufacturing.

Directed a procurement organization transformation program for one of the largest university systems in North America with over $7B in annual spend in order to drive increased sourcing project capacity, improve cooperation and coordination across all campuses, and deliver sustained financial benefits. Led a spend assessment and strategic sourcing program for a large county government. Analyzed over $200M in annual spend and developed the program’s sourcing plan across 12 category groups. Trained client procurement resources on Strategic Sourcing Methodology.
Led a strategic sourcing initiative for the European division of a global telecom company. Managed seven categories and delivered average savings yield of 18%. Developed an improved organizational design to support strategic sourcing planning, delivery and sustainment of benefits.
Managed a procure-to-pay (P2P) control assessment in support of an enterprise-wide procurement transformation effort for a major Canadian utility. Assessed risk factors and recommended mitigating control activities for 22 distinct P2P processes.
Led the Canadian Procurement Services Group for a major North American retailer of consumer electronics. Responsible for $400 million of non-merchandise goods and services spend including strategic sourcing, inventory management and logistics, purchase orders, e-Catalog management, P-Card administration, and the purchase and delivery of all goods not for resale in support of new store construction.
Developed a forecast & plan to strategically source $8+ billion in annual direct material spend for a $22 billion consumer & commercial electronics company based in Japan. The sourcing plan included all 11 of the Company’s major operating groups, and represented approximately 80% of global direct spend.
