Tampa CPE Series: Day 2
Protiviti Tampa's annual CPE Day has gone virtual for Spring 2020 and we are excited to host our second round of CPE sessions on June 11-12 which will include four unique sessions over two days. Day-1 will include two sessions and attendees will be eligible to earn 1 CPE credit for each session. You must attend each session in full and actively participate in order to earn the corresponding CPE credit.
Session 3: Audit and Reporting Update
The SEC and PCAOB have issued several updates designed to accommodate the realities of the current crisis. Simultaneously, companies are in the middle of adopting accounting, auditing and reporting changes that were already in process. This presentation will address recent updates to SEC Reporting requirements and implications for accountants, auditors and others. The discussion will include recommendations for accountants, Management and Boards designed to consider risks associated with these changes, and ways companies are implementing changes in risk oversight and internal control. We will highlight examples of enhanced reporting methodologies and tools that can help in preserving the integrity of accounting, internal controls and the overall financial reporting process.
Session 4: Zero Trust Network Primer: Next Generation Security for Next Generation Threats
Security threats and attacks are evolving on a daily basis challenging traditional security defense tactics and security models. Zero Trust Networks introduce next-generation network concepts designed to defend your environments from the ever-changing threat landscape. Please join us for a discussion explaining how these next-generation networks turn traditional network planning on its axis and why you should consider deploying them in you environments for enhanced security.
