Healthcare Cybersecurity 2018 Event

Healthcare Cybersecurity 2018 Event

Protiviti is hosting a webinar on the perceived state of cybersecurity in the healthcare industry and what it means to provider organizations and other healthcare entities in an ever-evolving landscape. From a flood of breaches and ransomware attacks to increased government scrutiny, it is imperative that healthcare organizations not panic but instead proactively assess their cybersecurity initiatives and prioritize opportunities for improvement during the rest of this year and beyond.

This webinar will cover various emerging risks and key strategies to help bolster your overarching cybersecurity program, and will include practical and interactive content including:

  • Insights into the ongoing concerns raised by the Congress-established Health Care Industry Cybersecurity Task Force based on an analysis of how to strengthen patient safety and data security in an increasingly interconnected world.
  • Trends in medical device security and the potential implications of not sufficiently addressing related risks.
  • Latest developments related to the OCR’s government-driven HIPAA audits and continuing enforcement issues.
  • Perspective on key cybersecurity priorities for the remainder of 2017 and throughout 2018.
