Nigel is a Managing Director and Country Market Lead for Singapore. He has over 25 years consulting experience within a ‘Big Four’ consultancy and professional services capacity working across Europe, Middle East and Asia. He helps clients envision, plan for and execute large scale transformation change to achieve sustainable business goals and strategies.

Major Projects & Accomplishment

  • Providing Delivery Assurance Programme Management – Led and supported turnaround of a $2bn programme through improved programme governance, PMO and prioritisation that identified $100m in savings over 12 months
  • Executing a Global IT Enabled Transformation Programme – Nigel managed the design, deployment and transition to client staff of the Programme Management Office for a $1b ERP enabled transformation programme
  • Business Transformation & Incorporation within Insurance and Banking – Led programmes and PMO to successfully incorporate 2 large insurance and banking businesses impacting people, process, technology, legal and regulatory compliance impacting over 1 million customers
  • Launching a new Digital Retail Bank – Delivered the core banking engine and key interfacing to a new start-up internet banking operation, from functional requirements to UAT for a leading global insurance company
  • Defining a Nationwide Future Payments Roadmap –Oversaw a key regulator driven initiative to define and establish the payments roadmap for a city state covering all aspects of the payments ecosystem 2016-20
  • Establishing a European Settlement Payments Programme– Provided business and technology planning for the next generation European Clearing Services encompassing sales, marketing, communications, finance, legal, commercial, product, regulatory approval, interoperability & reach, settlements, governance, customer offerings, CSM,VSA,R&R, IT Factory (Requirements, Design & Development, Infrastructure, Test), Channels and Implementation
  • Overseeing Implementation of New Payments Capabilities – Supported the delivery of ‘faster payments’ and ‘chip & pin’ for a city state comprising the majority of banks and impacting a population of 5m+
  • Delivering Banking Process Improvement and Offshoring – Transformed a bank’s retail back office operations through establishing an offshore captive and leveraging new IT for process improvement
  • IT Service Management Transformation - Developed and supported the approach and implementation planning for the delivery of the IT Transformation programme that created a ‘Shared Services’ organisation, consolidating multiple IT centres, back office functions and data centres to a single site for a major global insurance company
  • Transforming Procurement to Gold Standard – Delivered a procurement transformation plan at a leading Asean bank that led to the bank’s first CPO, delivered $80m++ savings and initiated the enhancement to a 21st century solution
  • Defining a Core Banking Strategy – Defined the Core Banking strategy and roadmap to 2020 for a leading Singapore bank underpinned by clear action plans, business cases, decision gates leveraging a bank wide ‘Obeya’
  • Transforming Global ERP and Procurement – Programme managed a global ERP-enabled business transformation Feasibility Assessment spanning 18 countries across supply chain, finance and HR.. Led the transformation of indirect global procurement to a centralised tax efficient model with significant $bn savings
