Why did you join Protiviti?
In interviewing with many companies, I focused on three areas that were considered the most important to me. - Culture and environment - Opportunities for growth and advancement - Nature of work I found Protiviti to have all the attributes I was looking for. I was especially impressed with the people and the culture and knew it would be the best fit for me.

What are the top 3 things you like about your job/Protiviti?
  1. Corporate culture
  2. Training and continuous learning
  3. Flexibility to work in different industries - Management encourages employees to seek out opportunities that are personally rewarding and support the company's goals. They actively listen to your career goals and allow you to have exposure to different areas before selecting your specialized field.
How would you describe the culture of Protiviti?
Our culture is very open and friendly, and employees are respected for their contributions and performance. Management style is "open door" and employees are always encouraged to interact with all levels of management.

We work extremely hard but have a great time doing it. Management understands that employees have a life outside of work and encourage us to maintain a healthy balance. We also have many activities throughout the year such as summer/fall retreats, quarterly meetings where we all come together, and numerous volunteer activities.

Why did you join Protiviti?
I looked for three primary requirements in my employer. First, the company would have to welcome only the brightest and best individuals - those who want to succeed in their careers and enjoy working with others who desire the same. Second, the company would have to foster growth. Third, the company had to believe in providing quality - to its clients, to the community, and to each employee's personal life. There had to be a balance between time spent to get the work product completed correctly and time spent giving back to the employee's city, friends, and family. Protiviti not only met all of these requirements, but did so in an exemplary manner.

What are the top 3 things you like about your job/Protiviti?
No matter which Protiviti employee to whom you ask this question, you will invariably receive the answer "the people," and it is so in my case. The people also drive the other things I like most about my job - the support and flexibility I receive. Every person I've discussed my career path with at Protiviti has offered great advice, a caring attitude, and thoughtful candid answers to even the toughest questions.

How would you describe the culture of Protiviti?
Protiviti is a fun environment that capitalizes on knowing when to work and when to play. Each day offers a new learning experience, and each person offers a different perspective.

In your opinion, what differentiates Protiviti from our competitors?
Protiviti differs from our competitors by being independent from our clients; the thought leaders on Sarbanes-Oxley matters; part of a well-recognized and respected global public company; and a company with a fun, exciting environment. We have a unique business model, an astonishing first two years in business, and the brightest individuals who continue to seek professional and personal growth.

What exposure have you had with upper level management at clients?
Protiviti offers even the Consultant level personnel the opportunity to interact with the client's upper level management. I've personally worked with the CFO (or similar management level) of every one of my clients thus far, and I foresee that as I move up the ranks, my exposure to management will continue to only get greater.

Why did you join Protiviti?
The people I met at the site visit and my interaction with them helped me to decide. Everyone I talked to seemed excited and pleased with the culture and the work they were doing. I was also very excited about the work/life balance as well as the training and career development opportunities that Protiviti provides.

What are the top 3 things you like about your job/Protiviti?
Work/Life Balance. The people in the Denver office are very outgoing. The office as a whole does a lot of activities outside of the office that help to balance the time spent working and the time spent getting to know and socializing with your co-workers, and more specifically giving back to the community.

Career Development. I really like the fact that Protiviti cares about my career development and is willing to support me (pay for classes, seminars, conferences) so that I may continue to grow and further my knowledge and career.

Culture. I really enjoy the people that I work with at Protiviti. They are like-minded individuals who have many of the same interests as I do. I have developed friendships with many of my co-workers outside of the office.

How would you describe the culture of Protiviti?
Everyone I have met has a great balance between work and life. I have met some of the most goal-oriented and driven people in my life at Protiviti. However, those same people know when to work and when to play.

In your opinion, what differentiates Protiviti from our competitors?
Although I didn't work for a Big 4 or Andersen prior to coming here, it seems as though Protiviti has the knowledge base of the older, more established companies. (i.e. processes and procedures); however, Protiviti is able to change and adapt those things to a smaller, ever-growing company. I also think that we have a very unique business model that allows us to provide a breadth of services that other companies are unable to provide.

What exposure have you had with upper level management and clients?
I have had direct exposure to executive level management on all of the clients I have worked on.
