Why did you join Protiviti?
I looked for three primary requirements in my employer. First, the company would have to welcome only the brightest and best individuals - those who want to succeed in their careers and enjoy working with others who desire the same. Second, the company would have to foster growth. Third, the company had to believe in providing quality - to its clients, to the community, and to each employee's personal life. There had to be a balance between time spent to get the work product completed correctly and time spent giving back to the employee's city, friends, and family. Protiviti not only met all of these requirements, but did so in an exemplary manner.
What are the top 3 things you like about your job/Protiviti?
No matter which Protiviti employee to whom you ask this question, you will invariably receive the answer "the people," and it is so in my case. The people also drive the other things I like most about my job - the support and flexibility I receive. Every person I've discussed my career path with at Protiviti has offered great advice, a caring attitude, and thoughtful candid answers to even the toughest questions.
How would you describe the culture of Protiviti?
Protiviti is a fun environment that capitalizes on knowing when to work and when to play. Each day offers a new learning experience, and each person offers a different perspective.
In your opinion, what differentiates Protiviti from our competitors?
Protiviti differs from our competitors by being independent from our clients; the thought leaders on Sarbanes-Oxley matters; part of a well-recognized and respected global public company; and a company with a fun, exciting environment. We have a unique business model, an astonishing first two years in business, and the brightest individuals who continue to seek professional and personal growth.
What exposure have you had with upper level management at clients?
Protiviti offers even the Consultant level personnel the opportunity to interact with the client's upper level management. I've personally worked with the CFO (or similar management level) of every one of my clients thus far, and I foresee that as I move up the ranks, my exposure to management will continue to only get greater.
