A state-owned Facility Management Company appointed Protiviti’s Human Capital Consulting practice to conduct an Assessment Center for its Senior Management employees and provide leading Severance Pay Practices and Compensation Benchmarking within the region.
Our client, established with the objective to monitor all investments of state-owned properties within the country, underwent a new strategic mandate. To ensure implementation of its new strategic direction, the company wanted to improve its operations while attracting and maintaining the right talent.
As a mandatory first step to ensure quality, we worked hand-in-hand with the client to conduct a thorough diagnostic review to understand current operations and the competencies required to carry-out the respective operations. We met with all major stakeholders in the company and identified required techno-behavioral competencies for the Senior Management with applicable proficiency levels to base the assessment on. Additionally, based on the diagnostic review and understanding of the company’s operations, we conducted a compensation benchmarking exercise to define leading compensation practices and severance pay practices.
We developed the required assessment material, conducted the assessment and developed customized Individual Development Reports for each participant. This helped in identifying required competencies for each participant which are applicable for the company’s new mandate. Additionally, we also ensured that Compensation Data and Severance Pay identified were relevant to the client’s unique nature of operations.
